"As the Rhythmic Program Director of the United States Gymnastics Federation, I am in the position to understand and
appreciate the international Rhythmic Gymnastics field, the importance of music, and the talents of Mr. Ivanov. Mr. Boril
Ivanov previously served as pianist for the Bulgarian National Rhythmic Gymnastics Team from 1983 to 1991. His musical
compositions included the arrangement for the group routine which won the World Championships in Sarajevo in 1989,
and his composition for Gymnastics Floor Exercise won the prize of "Best Music" at the World Championships in
Artistic Gymnastics in 1991.

The musical compositions for gymnastics are an essential and integral part of the routine, and the expertise Mr. Ivanov
brings will greatly enhance the athletes from the United States. Preparing musical accompaniment for gymnastics
requires complete familiarity and a thorough understanding of the sport itself, which comes from years of working in the
field with the athletes. Mr. Ivanov is clearly within the very top percent of the field internationally, if not the best

I have known Mr. Boril Ivanov since 1983 as he was the pianist and arranger of the Bulgarian National Team. For over 9
years I have been using his music which has always been professionally done. In 1991 at the World Championships in
Indianapolis Mr. Ivanov's music (routine performed by Silvia Mitova) was classified as "Best Music of the World" (see
International Gymnastics magazine special issue December 1991)..."
